Choosing a different path or staying true to the same course is a way to grow. Otherwise, it becomes a reason to catch up.
As a studio, andramatin has become a place to pause for those who work within it—individuals who once rested here and set out from the same space two decades ago. Inevitably, that space now longs for a reunion. This reunion, this time, takes the shape of an exhibition.
The 22 works in this exhibition are, in fact, responses from the “amalama” (read: andramatin alumni)—colleagues and friends who have since scattered on their own journeys. Joyfully, these responses arrive from various directions and in diverse forms: an architectural model, a photograph, a piece of poetry, a bouquet of flowers.
Beyond this gathering, How Are you, Amalama? also serves to share its essence with a broader audience—telling of personalities and stories, sharing news that, hopefully, is always good.
